Graduated with honors from Yale University and New York Medical College. He received his general surgical and orthopaedic residency training at the New York Hospital-Cornell University and Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Dr. Kelman completed his fellowship training at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in New York. He then completed advanced fellowship training in complex reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee (including joint replacement) at the renowned Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, California. Dr. Kelman has had numerous publications in his 17 years of experience as an orthopaedic surgeon.
Dr. Kelman is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has been an expert Medical Advisor for the Florida Division of Workers' Compensation since 2003, and a Certified Independent Medical Examiner since 1998. Dr. Kelman takes care of patients at the Miami Lakes office where he specializes in general orthopaedics, orthopaedic surgery, and joint replacement.
